After many years of resistance I finally moved into the 21st Century and got a digital camera. Yippee!! No more rolls of film to develop or negatives to deal with. I should have done this years ago. I absolutely LOVE my new Fujifilm FinePix camera. I have just begun experimenting with all the many features this fine little camera offer...including stability and red-eye reduction functions. The pictures have been ultra clear in all environments. I have used it in sunny weather at the beach as well as inside with a flash for evening parties. I am not able to give a technical review since I dont know enough about digital cameras yet. However as a dilettante I have found this lightweight, easy to handle camera a valuable asset. I cant wait until this summer comes when I go on a vacation and really get to see how it handles. Until then I will use it for fun and work activities as I master my digital skills. I think this is an awesome camera for a good price

This camera is an excellent value. It provides high resolution and all of the features in a lightweight package. Great for travel.
Limitations are in the lens. f3.1/5.6 are not as fast as my previous camera. Aperture control is limited.

Fuji Fine Pix digital that my son uses now. All the features are just what I wanted and more. Great zoom and muti shot clearity. You will need a real steady hand for zoom at the farthest level but thats to be expected because it really pulls in the target area. Great price and value you wont find at any retail store..I know cause I work at one!
I bought this camera mostly for the zoom and the quality of the lens you get for only around 200 bucks. This camera does not have a RAW mode so its really a point and shoot BUT it has many different features you might find in professional SLR cameras that cost hundreds more. If you know what you are doing, you can do a lot of manual shooting. I am not going to give it a 2,3,4 out 5 because I dont like the cheap plastic feel or that its too light or that I dont like the color, like some of the other reviewers mentioned.. How cares??? I give it 5 stars because the quality of the pictures is great and for what this camera is designed for, it does beautifully
I just love this camera! I took it on some short trips and it captured scenery and distant objects perfectly. I just love the 18X zoom feature that enables me to get so much closer to my subjects. I also took it to a concert and the pictures look like I am sitting in the front row.
The features are also easy to operate and, even though I am technically a beginner in digital photography, after a quick review of the owners manual, I was able to take great pictures. I am very satisfied with this product
I recently purchased this camera to replace my sony cybershot. I was looking for a middle ground between my Cannon Rebel XT Digital SLR and a basic point n shoot .... THIS CAMERA IS IT ! ! ! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this camera ! It is light weight, very simple to operate, great photos, decent video, and the zoom is great !
